Ms. A. Lang has been playing and performing music on & off stages since she was a very young girl. With the support of her family, she picked up the saxophone at an early age as she took a strong interest in the wide world of music and everything it offered her. After spending many summers at band camp with BC Cadet Military Marching Bands, prolifically playing baritone saxophone in her High School Jazz Orchestras and receiving honourable music achievement awards; her passion for music evolved as she decided to further her studies at the University of Victoria, majoring in Classical & Jazz Performance for Saxophone.
Her musical experience expanded the young musician grew up and decided to "run away with the circus", joining up with Vancouver's local "circus-gypsy-folk" band Blackberry Wood! Touring all across Canada & the UK playing festivals, shows and amazing parties, their reputation has even landed them unique oppourtunities performing on stages in the UK at Glastonbury Festival "Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts!!! "
In the off-season she actively play gigs with local blues bands and teaches music privately out of her home studio in Vancouver, BC.
Future projects are on the horizon for this emerging artist as she continues to write, record and collaborate with many other amazing Canadian artists and musicians!
