Class Overview
Grades K-2: Building Curiosity & Foundations
Young learners explore their world through hands-on discovery and guided learning aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards and California History--Social Science Framework. My classes focus on vocabulary development, concept understanding and applying scientific thinking skills. Support also includes reading comprehension of informational texts, project assistance, and study skills for assessments. Tutoring reinforces classroom learning and encourages healthy decision-making for wellness and physical education.
Grades 3-5: Expanding Knowledge & Critical Thinking
As students grow, so does the depth of learning. My classes help students:
* Carry out scientific investigations and understand cause & effect
* Explore California and U.S. History
* Strengthen geography and civic understanding
* Build health awareness and personal responsibility
* Develop appreciation for visual and performing arts
I also support research skills, project planning and study strategies to help students feel confident and prepared.

Yes. Pay-as-you-go, one lesson at a time is $30/lesson (each payment is $30); if you pay for four lessons, they will cost you $25/lesson (payments of $100); if you pay for eight or more lessons, they will cost you $22.50/lesson (Payments of $180); if you take four lessons per week in four consecutive weeks, they will cost you $20/lesson (16 lessons, payments of $320). Lessons are 55 minutes long to allow us to do record-keeping between classes.
