* READING: Strengthening decoding, comprehension, fluency and vocabulary through engaging, level-appropriate texts. * WRITING: Learning foundational writing skills in different genres (creative, persuasive, informational, non-fiction, biography, poetry). Developing clear sentences and paragraphs, and improving organization. *SPEAKING & LISTENING: Building oral language confidence through guided discussions, pronunciation practice, and expressive communication activities: Think-Pair-Share, (with ELL support a sentence frame is used), Role Playing and Show and Tell. * LANGUAGE & GRAMMAR: Practicing essential, sentence structure and language usage in ways that are age-appropriate and easy to understand.

Objectives are based on student needs and skill level, including those who need extra help as English language learners (ESL). Lessons focus on core areas and meet standards young learners need to succeed.

I prefer Google Meet. You don't need to download an app. You just provide your email address, I send you an invitation, you click on the link in the invite and Voila! we are linked. I can accommodate other platforms like Zoom but Google Meet is by far the easiest and most fun.

Instruction is tailored to each student's needs, learning pace, and language background. I have taught in all grade levels of elementary school with an emphasis on ESL learners. My teaching approach is patience and genuine caring, paired with engaging instruction, building trusting relationships that empower students to feel safe, valued, and excited to learn!
