I completed Chemical & Biological Engineering at UBC in 2017. Since then, I have worked in mobile health for 1.5 years and have started Large Tutoring Inc. We are a team of 6 tutors that provide a full-service academic support for ambitious students and their families. We value being adaptable, trustworthy, qualified, modern, and friendly. While I may be working to get into medical school, I also play the trumpet, run half-marathons and triathlons, and love meeting new people. I have worked in many industries, from customer service to organ transplant technology, and I use these experiences to help students understand the "why" of each problem. Why did they make that choice, what effect does it have on the problem, and why is it better than other choices? By understanding a problem, students are able to solve other similar problems rather than merely memorizing situations - great skills for academic courses and professional careers.
