Class Overview

My name is Clinton Large, I am a UBC Chemical & Biological Engineering graduate from 2017, and I run Large Tutoring! I'm offering tutoring services for High School and 1st year University courses, all levels, including IB and AP.

I run a team of four tutors to cover every subject needed. I have over 2.5 years of experience and my team is exceptionally qualified in their respective courses. We work with:

- Biology
- Calculus
- Chemistry
- English
- French
- History
- Math
- Physics
- Science
- Social Studies
- any other course needed!

I personally have tutored IB Physics 11, IB Physics 12, Chem 12, Math 12 Pre-Calculus, Calculus 12 AP, IB Biology 11, and various other high school courses. My first student who I have been working with for over 2 years, just graduated Prince of Wales Secondary, receiving a Gold Medallion for having a cumulative average above 92% in an IB program. I'm very fun and upbeat, but I'm also patient and persistent, and I ensure that I get to know my students. I try various methods to ensure the subject matter sinks in, and I am always open to your feedback for what works for you!

I have my open slots on a Google sheet and they are filling up fast! There is also lots of information about me and my policies on this spreadsheet. This document is available upon request. If you have questions of any kind, don't hesitate to ask! My rate is $50.00/hour, I do offer group sessions at $75.00/hour (for 2 students), and I offer a great amount of flexibility. My co-tutors are offering tutoring services for $45.00/hour.
