Class Overview
Calculus 2 dives even deeper into the fundamental theory of calculus. Here, we. begin to explore techniques like integration by parts, trig substitution, Riemann sums, left and right-hand rules, midpoint and trapezoidal rules, sums, sequences, series, Taylor polynomials and other concepts. Calc 2 further develops one’s skillset, adding an additional layer to the top of properties and products derived from calculus 1. The student is tasked with learning to do the derivative backwards, and a host of other abstract manipulations and concepts. For my continuing students, Calc 2 is no more challenging than Calc 1 and most have an outstanding outcome.
