Class Overview

Trig occupies a niche little abstract corner in math all on its own. It’s primarily the nomenclature, unit circle, and identities that present the biggest challenge for most trigonometry students. My approach is clear and concise; demonstrating the concepts and mechanics of the unit circle so there’s no need to memorize it, also clearly defining sine, cosine, tangent, and the identities, etc. I have had many students come to me struggling and only after a few sessions, I didn’t need to see them again until calculus. I think a lot of teachers either overcomplicate it, or simply don’t explain the material in a format the students can comprehend. This class should be an easy A.
