Beginner students will be introduced to the most important aspects of the language - primary sounds, sentence structure and thematic vocabulary. Students will be walked through the basics of grammar, vocab and prononciation which will let them develop confidence and take risks. Exercises will be varied and interactive (no repetitive worksheets) and will put students in real-life, natural settings for them to practice listening and speaking. For those with a strong foundation in the language, I help students strengthen their reading and writing abilities by using creative writing prompts, creating fun comics, analyzing advanced passages, and integrating multimedia materials. I also work with advanced students who are preparing to take standardized tests. Together we develop strategies for answering questions on passages, reading and synthesizing material quickly, and structuring writing and oral expression in clear and concise ways.
