Class Overview
Dip your toe in the exciting world of fashion design and illustration. Over six exciting weeks you’ll learn how to create an original croquis, make an inspiration board and craft detailed fashion illustrations.
Duration: 6 weeks (once a week, same day and time for duration)
Class Size: 8 students (maximum)
Your Teachers: Magali Blanc, Chay Clayton, Young Jegal
Projects Include:
- Inspiration board
- Pastiche
- 6 original croquis
- 6 final illustrations
Classes of two or fewer students are considered private classes. In this instance, you’ll complete all assignments as listed but in six, not eight, weeks.

- Please arrive to class on time - If you’re going to miss class for any reason, please email in advance to let us know. If you fail to report your absence within 24 hours, your class will be considered a missed session and no make up class will be provided You’re permitted one make up class per session, as long as it’s taken within the time frame of your course and as long as a spot becomes available during another class
Accurately and proficiently render the fashion figure, depict a variety of fashion figures with attention to gesture, stance, balance and proportion. Conceptualize design ideas and employ fashion sketching techniques.
