Class Overview

I am conscientious, motivated and hard-working; I am also very sensitive to my students' needs. I am an individual who combines expertise in mathematics with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of mathematics education, broadly defined.

I believe that my mathematical maturity, strong verbal and written communication skills, and commitment to academic excellence make me a well-rounded mathematician and teacher.

I have a great deal of teaching and tutoring mathematics across a wide range of levels, from elementary school to graduate school. I've been working as a teacher and tutor (both online and in the classroom) for nearly 20 years.

I am a mathematician by training, specializing in algebraic topology. I'm very interested in homotopy theory, particularly its interactions with category theory, group theory and representation theory, and K-theory.
