Class Overview
This 30-minute session is designed to help students overcome nervousness and build the confidence to express themselves clearly in any situation. Through interactive tutoring, students will learn how to use tone, body language, and simple speaking strategies to make a positive impression whether in class, social settings, or interviews.
By the end of the lesson, students will:
Understand the basics of confident communication
Practice introducing themselves naturally (without the awkwardness)
Learn quick techniques to manage speaking anxiety
Gain tools they can apply immediately in school, friendships, and future opportunities
This lesson is beginner-friendly, supportive, and tailored for teens and young adults (ages 13–22) who want to go from shy to shine.

In just 45 minutes, you'll learn the foundations of confident communication through real-world techniques you can apply right away. We’ll cover body language, tone of voice, and how to introduce yourself naturally without the awkwardness. This class is perfect for teens and young adults who want to: Speak more clearly and confidently Build social presence and communication skills Reduce anxiety around public speaking or group interaction Whether you’re preparing for school presentations, job interviews, or just want to feel more at ease socially, this session offers the tools to go from shy to shine in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
Understand the role of body language and tone
Practice a short self-introduction using a structure (like “Past–Present–Future”)
Learn 1–2 strategies to reduce nervousness (e.g., power poses, breathing)
For students under 18, parents don’t need to sit in on the lesson, but they’re welcome to be nearby. Many parents choose to check in at the end for a quick progress update. Parents please do not interrupt during the session.
Yes! Most students walk away with at least one new skill they can apply immediately, whether it’s a self-introduction, posture improvement, or a confidence-boosting technique. Continued sessions build deeper skills over time.
Currently, lessons are held online via video call for easy access, flexibility, and comfort. Students just need a computer/tablet with a camera, microphone, and stable internet connection.
