    Class Overview

I tailor my classes to the needs of each student.
I can teach everyone (both children and adults) regardless of their Japanese level.
I’ve helped hundreds of students to pass university exams, JLPT, BJT and other exams.
Generally, during every class I focus on every aspect of the language (speaking, writing, reading, listening) and I try to make students engaged in what I teach, aiming to foster active learning.
Although Japanese is a gorgeous language, I believe it’s not the final goal, but a mean to achieve the goal: intercultural communication.
That’s why I also aim to make every class enjoyable and I don’t only teach the language, but the culture that comes with it as well! :)

    Any age

English, Italian, Spanish, German, Japanese, Polish

You should speak at least one of the languages I can speak (English, Italian, Spanish, German, Polish, Japanese), so that we can understand each other.

Just a notebook and a pen/pencil to take notes.

    Curriculum for this class

    Self-introduction and greetings

During this class you’ll learn what kind of language Japanese is, its sentence structure and its features, such as the presence of three different writing systems (hiragana, katakana, kanji). After this short introduction, you will then learn the Japanese greetings and how to introduce yourself in Japanese. At the end of the class there will be an exercise and the student will have to try to recognise each greeting and connect it to the right meaning in English or another language (the language the class is held in) .

    FAQ

Are you really bilingual? You don’t look like a japanese tho.

Although I do not have Japanese origins, I have been speaking the language ever since I was practically born, thanks to a family friend who was like a babysitter to me, and who was Japanese. I’ve always only spoken Japanese with him. At the age of 15, I passed JLPT N1 with a perfect score, and I now have 4 years of experience as an online Japanese tutor.

Do I need any specific textbook to attend your classes?

No, not at all. All you need is just a notebook and a pen/pencil to take notes. I usually provide students with my own self-made material.

Would it be possible to become fluent in Japanese in one year?

It all depends on how much effort one puts in studying the language and how many hours per day one dedicated to learning. With the right amount of effort everything is possible!
