Class Overview
In this session, we will cover one of the most important aspects of Pharmacology: medication interactions and side effects.
We shall cover medications both system-wise (G.I.T, C.V.S, C.N.S., etc) as well as pair them into groups that have similar side effect profiles (for example Ondansteron and Macrolides, though completely different medications both cause Q.T. interval prolongation).

To benefit the most from this class, it would be helpful for the students to already have a general grasp of the field of Pharmacology.
This lesson will serve as a crash course in Pharmacology. During this session, we will cover the side effects and interactions of some of the most high-yield medications most likely to be tested on examinations (easy example: ACE inhibitors cause dry cough. tricky example: Macrolides when used alongside statins can potentiate rhabdomyolysis).
